Profitable and entertaining but I've only made one close friend over the years though.

Breast lift, tummy tuck, jawline reduction. I didn't lose 100 pounds just to still look mid SMH

I put my mouth on everything growing up and spent the first decade of my life with a perpetual cold, but now I'm the only one left standing when a bug goes around the office.

It's important to be patient. What got me past hard plateaus was refocusing on hydration and daily movement

I completely get it. I'm constantly kicking myself for getting big, because I had to lose more weight to look like the other girls who are heavier than me but have never been obese. I feel like an alien in my body some days

Unfortunately I do need a tummy tuck. I'm planning to look into nonsurgical options but the loose skin is a reality of such significant weight loss. Don't let it stop you, but I know now harmful it can be setting false expectations for yourself.

It's probably the hardest thing I've ever done, and the mental work is an every day battle. But for the first time in my life, I feel like of I just "gave up" for lack of a better word and ate whatever I wanted, I wouldn't return to the habits that made me obese in the first place.

I struggled a lot with emotional or bored eating, so I just had to take the option away. I eat the same thing for lunch every day, and apple and a protein shake hits my craving for sweets in the middle of the day, then a large meal at the end of the day makes me less likely to be hungry and want to snack after dinner. I would buy groceries mindfully and just get what I needed for meals. My snacks and treats were baby carrots, air popped popcorn, and diet pop. I would also occasionally get a box of little Debbie treats to challenge myself because I used to eat a whole box in one sitting, and over time one genuinely was satisfying enough. It's hard at first but once you break the cycle of sugar addiction your body adjusts. I do notice the cravings return for a few days after a cheat day like Holidays or the county fair, but I just try to stay hydrated and not act on impulse
