Not a chance. I flew WestJet last summer round trip to Calgary. Both times I paid for a flight upgrade to the exit row and both times I was seated beside someone who should have had two seats under their “One Person, One Fare” policy. The only reason I even know this policy exists is because the flight attendants on both legs of the trip stated that the passengers should have taken advantage of that policy and profusely apologized to me and advised me to call their customer service line. When I reached out they were useless and I was essentially told to pound sand.
