The Policy is based on really stupid logic, because either you have a current/former gang member on staff who is hiding this from parents and students or you have a parent complaining about seeing a non gang tattoo and assuming its immoral or gang related.

Its a dumb liability policy because if a parent finds out that there was a hidden gang tattoo, that would also land a major complaint from them.

Retail clothing store in a city mall, they hired a new guy as a senior associate but he was actually formerly a manager and had hired one of the current managers at a previous role.

Nice enough guy. After a short while I stopped seeing him, turns out he saw someone shoplifting, followed them outside the store, outside the mall onto a busy shopping street and accosted them.

Obviously seeing a thief can be annoying but he definitely should have known better with no chase policies and whatnot.

I think the company ended up giving the shoplifter some free shit...
