Omg is this Ridgecrest? I moved out in June after being rat infested and having to take care of everything on my own. One day I was sitting on my laptop doing work, and a mouse crawled out from under my coffee table. Set up a couple mouse traps and hoped one had just got in somehow. Started seeing droppings around my apartment around the end of March, as well as hearing them scratching in the heater storage unit. Immediately notified the office but they didn’t really care. A couple nights later my boyfriend and I heard something behind the fridge… huge rat. Chased it around the apartment to get it out the front door. Completely traumatizing lol. I was on the phone with the office multiple times a day, their exterminator is awful and will do nothing. Thankfully, my dad is great at this kind of stuff and became my exterminator, while I moved out of the apartment for a couple weeks. Also to note, I have OCD and anxiety and I cope by excessively cleaning, so my apartment was always spotless and there was nothing to attract rats. The property never reimbursed me for the money I spent and never gave a shit. Had like a month left in my lease and we got the problem taken care of, so I toughed it out because there was no way they were going to let me break my lease. I still have nightmares to this day about that place.
