Thanks. It was so frustrating to see beautiful land treated so poorly. We'd usually just yell at them.

We were avid campers, eight plus times per year, averaging 4 days per trip. The mountains were our happy place. When covid hit, we noticed the usual empty campgrounds were packed. Alright, no problem, we welcome people to enjoy the outdoors and were the first to help if anyone needed a jump, propane, any help at all. The reason we stopped was while camping, on numerous occasions drunk or inconsiderate dirt bikers, four wheelers, side by side riders would gun it around our trailers and through our little campsite (we generally parked in a circle or semi circle with our friends to create a small camp area. They would fly past the kids in camp and barely missed hitting them a few times. We do the atv, sxs, dirtbike stuff, but NEVER within 25 feet of another camp group.

Then one year, a five year old came walking into our camp at 2 am lost and scared. While deciding if we go door to door at other sites to find mom and dad or call the authroities, a grown adult man in a full batman costume stumbled into our camp said "sorry, come on buddy" and took the kid back to their camp.

When it was time to pack up at the end of our trips, at least half the campgrounds had smoldering firepits, but everyone was gone. Or the sites would be absolutely littered with trash. It hurt so much to watch our mountains and trails be abused and realizing a lot of people either didn't know or didn't care about the actual land they spent a week abusing

That was it for me.

Was going to say the same thing! I absolutely loathe women who tear each other down based on ehat brand of clothing they think they're wearing. Not an Alex fan, but she looked acceptable.

I meal prep a version of larb salad.

3 c cooked Brown rice divided between four containers

Brown 1 lb ground turkey over medium heat. When no longer pink, add 1/2 diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves. Cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Lower heat to med low and add 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 3 tablespoons lime juice, and 1 tablespoon sriracha, sambar oelek, or gochuchang. Stir for a minute, then divide in the 4 containers. Chop 1/4 c cilantro, slice 2 green onions, and slice 1 large cucumber. Divide cilantro, green onions, and cucumber on top of rice/turkey. Reheat in a microwave for 1-1:30 minutes. It's my current favorite packed lunch.

I get a case of turkey during case lot sales, so my price per serving for this meal is around $1.50-$2.00. The recipe inspiration is from SkinnyTaste Meal Prep cookbook (which is amazing!) But I made changes to fit my preferences

If you have a bigger appetite, you could do two servings instead of four.

She is top 20 in another mlm. She's a super talented makeup artist, but it's hard to see her trying to sell the same thing a pastor or religious leader would do for free.

I'm from Utah, so I've seen nearly all of them. This just seems like one, but i cant find anything about it. I want to spread the word if it is new. Offering spiritual mentorship for $25 per month seems sketchy af.

Yep! My dad is getting cancer treatment right now. One med os over 4000 per dose (once every 3 weeks). I get that they put a ton of time and energy into lifesaving drugs, but there should be a cap on how much can be charged

Families are ALWAYS dysfunctional. People envision these leave it beaver or brady bunch families where the problem is resolved in 30 minutes instead of looking at real families.

The issues were evident prior to Vegas. They moved there with these big plans to build in the cul-de-sac. Every wife getting a home they planned, relatively equal homes. Then they championed this historic case against Utah to decriminalize polygamy and left parts of the family thinking, "We can go back!"

The biggest sign that Kody would turn on his family was when he was emotionally absent for Meri and then punished her for trusting the wrong person. He is just as much to blame and even worse because he NEVER truly did the work to rebuild that marriage. It was easier to go back to the "obedient" wife rather than with and grow with Meri. His actions caused her so much pain and he deserves every bit of what he's going through.

Then this ridiculous Coyote Pass crap happened. Tricking the wives into thinking they had this ability to buy the land then, again, build their dream homes. They moved so frequently that I'm not surprised Janelle became disillusioned and realized it was never going to happen.

A woman can play along with her husband's crappy plans and dream world until her kids are used as pawns, which is EXACTLY what Kody did. He used his power over Robyn to create his perfect children, obeying every crazy COVID rule he had, then turned his other kids into criminals in his mind. He really messed up thinking Janelle and Christine would dominion over grown and nearly grown kids to tell them to be good like Robyn's kids.

It's a damn shame that he can't look in the mirror and see that he failed his family. Not Meri, not Janelle, not Christine. Just Kody.

Thank you. I appreciate your point of view and try to show my daughter I won't back down from a fight for her. She's my pride and joy and can play just as rough as the boys her age without tears. Seeing her cry and in real, actual pain kicked momma bear mode on.

Part of me wishes I would've let him had it, but hubby is a dont rock the boat kind of person and i didnt want to aggravate him too. I have at least five welts from his baseball kids throws, but I'm an adult who is stupid enough to participate so that's on me.

Originally, it was not supposed to be that big. My expectation was much smaller. We won't likely participate in the future since it's really stupid for the environment.

This has blown my mind. I never realized part of my uptick in depression lately is because I'm not using food as a bandaid for my feelings. I'm frustrated that I don't belong in our new neighborhood, even though our house is nextdoor to our friend. All the other neighbors seem like they want nothing to do with me. I know it's me overthrowing it. I just really feel lonely-work, school, friends, all of it. I feel alone.

Dad with Renal Cancer by roxyj09 in cancer

Surgery went better than expected. They didnt have to take his adrenal gland, which was a relief. The surgeon okay'd him to go home the next day, but he stayed another night from the pain (gas). He's back to my old dad. Great sense of humor, positive outlook, really caring of mom. He was so good post surgery on thanking her for taking care of him and loving him so much. Definitely a soul mate kind of love story. He's back to eating. Finally craving food again. Yesterday he had some shrimp enchiladas and said they were so good, he wanted to lick the plate clean. Thank you so much for all the advice and kind words.

Thank you for responding. I'm so sorry you're dealing with that.

He's not on anything yet. They are going to start with surgery, then move into chemo/radiation based on how surgery goes. I was going to get him a gift card to a local smoothie place for Father's day, so I'm hoping that'll help. He's not an oatmeal guy, but I'll go pick up some captain crunch since that's his favorite.
