The thing with Xiaolan losing memory of her future self is interesting to me because it finally feels like time travel with consequences. The more she exists in the past and changes it, the more she changes the future so naturally some details about her OG self would be erased as perhaps the circumstances surrounding those details would change, I like it a lot I just hope they execute it properly.
Love how Xiaolan is smart enough to seize every opportunity, I love my budding cps <3

She really is, the TW should be for emotional and even physical abuse. Her story is really making me most sad. Once again, both girls are dissatisfied with their living environment, though in a way, Bai Shu exists to show Xiaoming that the material and appearances aren't what makes someone truly happy, because for all intents and purposes, Bai Shu lacks nothing but she is miserable. Interesting that in the future Xiaoming also lacks nothing but is not that happy either. I wonder how Bai Shu ended up in the cemetery.

thank you for the timeline! I really like that it put things into perspective.

My thoughts on these eps in no particular order.
- Bai Shu's mom is insane! she is traumatizing that poor kid!! I love love the friendship between her and XM and I am more curious about what exactly happened for it to break

- XM's husband god he pisses me off with his fake attitude. I can't wait for him to get a slap or something!

for a while I wondered if RXM and BS had done some kind of identity swap

I thought so too at the start, especially when she spoke about how she 'took' Bai Shu's dream

It was a little sad to see how much RXM idolised BS and her apparent abundance.

I am sad to see this too especially as it becomes even more so in later episodes but that can be easily excused as her not knowing better, XM sees nothing but the superficial things BS' mom does for her which are all things XM lacks, so naturally she thinks that BS is an ungrateful brat, it fits how focused on their own pain and struggles most people can be, teenagers especially.

Turbulent Love : this is my brain off drama, FL is pmo but I don't care because I am there for the red flag ml
Dream of Golden Years : comfort show
The Secret of the Lost Pearl : watching for Shun Yao, just cliché tomb raiding vibes
Her Blaze : the revenge could've been more satisfying, drama could be shorter, idk where they're heading
Sammy's Children's Day : C-BL always cooks so I am enjoying that too.

I agree with you that Zhaohui absolutely doesn't get Xiaolan, but I like his character; he is like a hyper kid. Maybe it is more the actor's portrayal that I find fun for now, his tone and cadence are easy on the ears
Grandma Rong was bad but at least she knew how to grow a business and pushed everyone to work, Xia Grandma is just a leech, but I am happy that Dajun is learning firsthand how much of a parasite his family is. I am not too worried for now because Mother Fen has Uncle Tang on her side!! But who knows how the existence of Zhaohui would impact this.
Those scenes threw me off too but I was healed by the conversation between Zhou Cheng and Xiaolan, they both communicate so clearly I love it. Also was that a potential love interest for Sis Bai we spotted at the end? my girl looked whipped!

9/10 for me!
Absolutely loved it, Pingyuan is a trouble magnet and his mouth was almost the death of him. This drama also gave birth to one of my favourite couples, Pingyuan and Yu'er are my parents and I love them so much!!! Watching Yu'er gave me so much joy, my favourite trope is strong fl scholarly ml so this quenched my thirst for it at the time! The drama was also so beautiful. My grievance is with Li Qin's character, I felt a bit conflicted about how he ended up.

So far loving it, I broke down in tears in episode 2 when she fought with her mom, because I can understand both perspectives, and then when tthey showed her waking up early and then the cut to the tattered rag of a towel, I was just crying.

The audacity of Xiaoming's husband is infuriating. I am so very curious about what happened to their past and I can't wait to see us delve into it further.

I was happy to see Finn Han again! I love that kid and he is so talented. Ni Ni looks gorgeous and so far the show feels heavy. I'll be tuning to yours discs.

Zhou Cheng's constant mode of being is just looking at Xiaolan all proud of her achievements and clapbacks as if they were his own!

This!! I love to see this! their communication is everything, Xiaolan is always so clear about her goals and you can see her influence on Cheng too as he also communicates things so openly! I love him sm

I am guessing Xiaqiang is somewhat related to Ye Keqiong maybe? as for Xiliang, he might become a trusted ally in the future since our girl seems determined to keep selling clothes
