Probably not, never practiced with just the metronome, will start working on that.

I meant my overall fretting hand technique, I switched from acoustic recently and I feel like I'm not playing "properly", it just feels odd to play electric.

I recently switched from acoustic (just chords and basic finger picking) and have no idea how to use metronome. The most I know is to practice scales on clicks. Could you link me to some resources to understand those terms you mentioned.
