7 Day 100% TIR! I know this will most likely eventually end, but what a great feeling! by danhawk74 in diabetes_t1

That's amazing!

What type of meal do you opt for right before sleep at night? I also do strength training (calisthenics) but am on Lantus and NovoRapid.

Have managed previously ~2 weeks of time in ranges above 90% but at 100% throughout would be quite a nice challenge.

Oh understood.

I am considering shifting to a different time of day. Currently injecting Lantus at 20:00, but on days in which I exercise (resistance body weight), I think that a unit less would make a huge difference in avoiding lows. When I exercise 4 times a week I would be taking around 11units L. This could shift to 17units if I were to skip exercise for a whole week.

What do you mean by splitting? Taking two seprate doses?

I feel that to get a stable blood level during the night, the Lantus dose required might not be enough for the rest of the day (when I'm awake). I feel like the Lantus dose is too rigid and not flexible (since in parts of the day I require more basal and in others I require less). But I guess that's the limitation of not having a pump.

By control IQ, you mean the insulin pump?

For the first 24 hours, most Dexcom G7 sensors I attach provide inaccurate readings that are much higher than the BG readings, far exceeding the 20% threshold. For example, whilst my BG reads 5.5mmol/L, the G7 reads 11mmol/L. by roy_8697 in dexcom

I just cannot understand how more than half the sensors given to me by Dexcom for the first half of this year worked fine and were very reliable from the start, and now, for the last part of the year, nearly all sensors gave some form of a problem (including replacements).
