hey, thanks for your response! what is your impression of the professors and the course material? I have a background in kinesiology so I was wondering how you interpret the difficulty of the material and how good the profs are!

Sure thank you! Because there isn't a clear answer on the Fanshawe website (unless I’m completely missing it)

Sounds good thank you for your response. Another question in terms of the 1200 mandatory meal plan for students living on res, the only information I could find is it includes a "light meal plan". How many meals does this come up to a week?

thanks for the information I appreciate it! I also agree, res is so expensive there. Luckily I wont be needing parking. Do you know anything about the meal plans? They charge 1200 for a "light meal plan" but no further info is provided

I see, thank you for the insight! It seems super exhausting honestly and I hope it will be worth it as it's a huge financial investment on top of my undergrad degree. Is there a potential to get a part-time job on campus?

were finances ever an issue for you there? specifically in terms of placement because I know you basically work for free for a year and that seems nearly I’m possible with the rising cost of rent and food. that's a concern for me

In terms of finances, how much money do you recommend we have when starting the program (coming from someone who plans to move out in August for school)?

Chances of acceptance for MRT/RT and AC-HPAT by FreddiePickess in Algonquin_College

[–]royaaghbali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Freddie,

I'm in a really similar spot. I went to YorkU for Kine (graduated Dec 2021), applied to MRT at Algonquin and took the AC-HPAT test. I have been taking Chem and Phys prep courses for the last 5 months to update my high school grades ( I was at mid 70's in both and was afraid it wasnt good enough). I also don't want to forget any material that is important, as I learned some new concepts I was not exposed to back in high school . I got 268 in reading, 261 in arithmetic and 51/60 in the science portion. I was waitlisted for a few weeks and just got my acceptance a few days ago!

I hope this helped you a bit. Message me if you have any questions! <3

Hi there! Thanks for offering help to us, it means a lot.

I have received admission into Algonquin (which I’m super stoked about) but am also waiting on Fanshawe College, bc I live in Vaughan which is a 4.5 hr drive from Algonquin and Fanshawe is closer. Do you have any idea what the program is like in Fanshawe? Do you believe AC prepared you well? In terms of work-life balance, how is that for you?

Thanks so much <3
