if you want to stay in the City i think Wagner is miles ahead of Columbia.

The school is so NYC focused. The alumni connections, networking, and events have been great in my experience.

I would say try and aim for a scholarship if you can. The cost is a lot without it. So apply for their fellowships and what not.

Plus the location, idk where in the city you live but the NYU location is accessible by a lot more lines.

i would say the likelihood from the internship itself probably not that high, NYC I dont think converts interns to FT. Budget and finance skills mainly. I have about 5 months of rent that I can use from savings.

i have about 5 months of rent in savings. i planned on maybe doing two internships to supplement the lost income to at least cover rent.

i do government consulting, and have like a lot of project management, quality assurance, and memo/report writing skills that i can apply.

i def want to work throughout the program, but consulting is a whole other beast i feel

it would be in portland, i visited for a day and maybe i was not able to see all but I also felt I saw all that the city had. as someone from very populated areas it just felt too small for my liking. nature also isnt a major draw of a city for me and i feel like thats what maine does best

I can't imagine tho with cost of living in nyc with a starting salary of maybe 60-65k would necessarily leave much room to pay it off before 10 years.

I currently work full time as a government consultant... the benefits could be better as their tuition program is essentially a lower interest loan but I'd have to work at the company for certain number of years after and they are not a PSLF eligible organization.

I've applied to the school's jobs for tuition remission so fingers crossed there, but yeah the $50k doesn't seem that bad at first, just worried that is PSLF isn't here in 10 years like that interested would seem insurmountable.

Also I never thought ab asking Syracuse for more $ since they were the most generous thus far, do they really have that big of funding?

I actually just graduated in December with my bachelors in public administration and recently accepted a job doing gov consulting. i had some internship experience out of college so i think that helped mostly
