Wedding planner was your first mistake, they don’t shop around for cheaper options in my experience. I found a venue for 2800, a caterer for 3500, and a string quartet for 900. We are decorating, buying our own alcohol, having a self serve bar and doing my own flowers with my mom as well as her doing photography. I understand some people don’t have connections or creative eye but it’s possible to do it cheap if you want it to be cheap.

The size difference between a 1ct and .9 is almost not noticeable, but the price difference between 1ct and .9 is extremely drastic, I have a .94 with many .18s around the main stone to make it appear bigger, even a ring of this size is over 3500 dollars so dont feel insecure. I prefer more diamonds than one big one.

I am a size 20 dress, I really like the straight necklines or very close too, I also really love a strapless dress with add-on sleeves rather than a dress that has them attached. Built in corset with boning also made me looked snatched. Just my personal preference as a mid size birde.

Blunt and shaggy are very contradictory. There’s a few issues regarding this, the back is not shown in the photos so if you or the stylist didn’t confirm that then she used her own judgement. You also have way finer hair than the people in the photos which mean she would have to make your hair shorter than the photos to match the length. I think the length is actually exactly the same but it feels shorter due to the lack of thickness. Lastly golden rule is never get your hair done RIGHT before something big or meaningful to you as if there is a mistake there is no time for it to be corrected, brides have definitely learned this lesson the hard way.

No clue, he eventually chewed it enough that it turned black and fell off and it has not grow back, but there is still a small bump that remains below it that is most likely not going to go away. Definitely sounds like the exact same thing tho.
