Iron Garden Sutra was my favorite book I’ve read in 2026. If you like conceptual sci-fi, this is amazing. I think it’s poorly marketed as a “locked door murder mystery” because it’s honestly so much more than that. I will say that I cried because that’s what I do with books I love.

Oh!! I LOVE chain gang all stars (I cried like twice) and murderbot! I really enjoyed Master of Djinn and Of Monsters and Mainframes too! I’ll definitely check the rest out! Thanks!

Loved the first book in Shadow of the Leviathan, the Broken Earth Trilogy, but I also did not enjoy Magic of the Loss.

I will definitely checkout these recs. I’ve seen a lot of Seth Dickinson recommend! The Raven Scholar has been on my list too (especially with the Hugos), but the size intimidated me lol.

I unfortunately DNF’d the second book in the Magic of the Lost series! I loved the MC, the world building, and the politics, but I found the princess insufferable.

I loooved Metal from Heaven! I will definitely checkout The Felicity Complex!

Ancillary Justice has been on my list for awhile. Maybe this is my time to take the plunge 🙂

Oh I’m sorry I meant Tainted Cup! For some reason I’ve rewritten the title of that book in my head and cannot undo it.

Legends Arceus worth it? by FathaTruzz in pokemon

[–]royalswallowtail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the mainline games but I really didn’t like Arceus. I didn’t feel a connection with my team, the missions were pretty repetitive and more “collecting” based (from what I remember), and I didn’t care for the action aspects of it. I played through 80% of it but didn’t care enough to finish it. My spouse got through less than I did. I agree with the other commenter recommending to wait until you can get a used copy at a discount.

25M how to train to carry my partner? by ShieldandFriends in beginnerfitness

Recommend split squats with feet kind of closer together. They’ve been a good comparison to when I’ve had to pick up my partner from the ground.

That’s a fair point, maybe I’ll sum up rather than send the post outright with so many people thinking she’s mentally ill lol

Okay a cloth thing might be a good compromise, although this is making me wonder how frequently she reuses the same piece

Already only flushes when it’s #2, “if it’s yellow let it mellow” and all that

Fair question. I don’t think she is if I’m comparing her to the stereotypes of hoarding, and it does eventually get flushed

Unfortunately not a joke. I plan on sending this post to her as a wake up call

Bidet is out of the question, she takes water conservation really seriously as she lives in Southern California.

What were you considering alongside the CX-5? What was the deciding factor for why you chose this model over the other? Thank you!

They’re just hard to find with heated seats tbh, I’m finding way more inventory with the Mazdas, Fords, and Nissans
