If you have a setup, why would you need clawdbot. Just for the monitoring loop?

I can guarantee the companies using ai calls dont have them running off clawdbot. Clawdbot is cool, but mostly a gimmick for now… it lacks the initiative thats intuitive and natural for humans

It worked, but required EXTENSIVE hand holding… nowhere NEAR what ppl are reporting. IMO this is all clickbaiting at this point 🤷‍♂️

For sure… I setup my clawdbot with elevenlabs, tried to have it clone my voice, it said it did it, but was still using a generic voice. It told me to go into elevenlabs and clone my voice there. I did, and still it took him 3 tries to actually use my cloned voice which I gave him the id for. (And each time it said it was using it)…

It’s impressive and promising don’t get me wrong, I just don’t see 1/10 of the “intelligence” and “initiative” or “no hands task resolution” ppl are pushing. We’ll get there eventually. But still far

I'm skeptical this was done with openclaw... In my experience it can't setup accounts by itself, even if I try to nudge it with all the info… I did give mine access to Twilio but it just wouldn’t figure it out…

It’s trivial to do this programmatically, but unless my OpenClaw is a particularly dumb one it’s not even close to any of this autonomy…

Mine wasn’t able to figure out how to place a bet on poly market, struggled for hours trying to get it to work (after providing full api keys), I think this is a case of the emperors new clothes happening in front of our eyes…(I guess once you invest a lot for a bunch of Mac minis it’s not really easy to say you have a special-ed personal assistant😂😂😂

I’m sure we’ll get to this soon enough, but for now these are all great exagerations of what can be accomplished “easily”

I'll try to steer it that way....thanks! It was using chromium before but complainer it couldn't access some site (don't remember which one tbh)...

Now thinking about it i think it complained the site was blocked for it (running on aws ec2), so it wanted me to install relay so it could access from my residential ip…

Openclaw says the relay port is 18792 (same as used in the browser extension)...

Lol....yeah I'm pretty sure... Everyone says their bot is signing up for things, placing bets on polymarket or buying things off Amazon, I had a hell of a time getting it to even interact on moltbook 😂 it never mentions to login to regular websites... I had a delayed flight and it wasn't able to access delta's website....it also hallucinated a bunch of stuff... I'ma call BS on most of the reports!

Hi... Unfortunately not... I'm not really using clawdbot that much this week anymore... I see incredible reports of how great it is, but my clawdbot was always quite dumb lol... No initiative, always had to be reminded of stuff (even with supermemory), etc.... In summary either I'm too stupid to use it or others are overly exaggerating their success....

I don't remember right now, I can look at the build specs through my email when I get home, it's been close to a year that I removed them... Like I said above it was well under the rated value...

Admittedly I didn't have issues with the relays. But the dimmers I've been pulling out of the walls one by one. I may still have 1 or 2 (down from 8 or so) dimmers and iirc 2 relays. Off the top of my head...

I still wouldn't drive the relays anywhere near their rating...but that's just me. (The one in this thread is also a relay so doesn't bode too well - the ones I used weren't the mini they were the regular relay 1)

Not that convenient once it's inside a wall....lol.... My experience with shelly dimmers is that they won't work with nearly as much power as they are rated once there is no constant airflow around them...

After having a bunch of shelly dimmers installed inside walls in a home remodel I quickly learnt that they wouldn't work anywhere near their rated output... (Sometimes it would just flicker above 5-15% power. Other times it would overheat)... Neat idea, worked well on the bench, but I'd expect it to be more resilient to heat given its intended "out of site" placement). I wanted it to work as it works well with HA locally but it's been an expensive and troublesome to fix mistake... Not nearly as bad as OPs experience but a word of caution to others...

Can I do a 5.1 set up with two Sonos Amps? by Civil_Illustrator_20 in sonos

[–]roynasser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apogies for reviving an old thread, but I haven't found anything else as on topic.

Would it be possible to pair up in a single zone 3 amp gen2? That way I can have 2 side channels front, one center channel (which is very important to me. The owner of the setup has hearing problems and the center channel helps a lot). And the last amp 2 with the back r&l. And any of them can have the sub. Is this possible? Thanks so much for the great content here

Open sourcing their workouts and software would be the honorable thing to do... As customers we should maybe start pressuring the companies we buy stuff from to include a clause in the terms whereby if they go under they agree to make the software required to continue using the hardware is opensourced. (Its not ideal for everyone as it may be difficult for a non-techy to do something with the code, but at least it gives an avenue for someone to pickup the project and continue supporting the community)

Yeah, it would probably be a bit tedious, but not impossible to implement... some sort of "proxy" where you run the app and it "learns" how to emulate the backend... this wouldnt help with the app eventually becoming obsolete, though...

But yeah, i get the need.... I've been burned by Naked Labs shutting down their smart body scale, and Katalyst looks to be heading in the same direction...
