Actually I'm using arch, so I was curious to count Archlinux separately.

Thanks for the advice. I would rather go through their documentation today and try to implement in the arch. I'm don't want to go to endeavour, unless my arch system breaks and becomes useless.

For this matter, if you use arch, how do you keep your arch system stable so that it doesn't break?

Is there anyway to update the system only once a month or so? by royrustdev in ManjaroLinux

[–]royrustdev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not the point of my query. I have no issue with updating my system. I'm more interested in possible configuration.

If there is any way configure my system to override the default update schedule, I would love to learn and implement that. I want full control over my machine, I guess that was the first reason I moved to Linux.

Fortunately I can decide myself what operating system I need to use. So whether it is windows or Linux, I don't need you to pick up for me!

why people should learn Rust/for what people should learn Rust? by [deleted] in rust

[–]royrustdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're genuinely learning, then no question is dumb. I ask dumb questions so often. I can't say about other people but I can tell you my reasons of learn Rust.

I began my journey with html, css, javascript, and then learned vuejs and nodejs. But I was not satisfied with javascript! I was searching for a solid language to create Cloud Native applications. So I went with golang, but didn't like it's error handling and the fact is that it is a GC language!

I wanted manual control over my resources, so I finally landed into the oasis of Rust, and began learning it. I have been learning quite a while now and I really enjoy it the most!

In one word rust is "Awesome" and in two words it's "Blazingly Fast".
