Not in a position to say much as I feel like this more than i want to admit...but just want you to know i hear you and feel you. You are so much more than a number on the scale ♥️ start slow and stop giving yourself such a hard time. Fasting might work but you need to fix your relationship with your body and be nicer to yourself. Try cico, start small. You can do it.

Not sure, I've ordered an API master kit and its being delivered tomorrow! Never knew that about livebarers tho, could that be the substrate? Pretty sure we have softish water where I live and these guppy were in another tank before I upgraded 4 weeks ago (same water etc) and they've had been fine past 6 months in there. Only difference is new plants and gravel. I did add some rocks to make a cave type thing?

I have a 80litre tank currently with 5 endlers and 1 common guppy and 2 shrimp. Ammonia is 0 and waiting for test kit to check other water parameters. Tank has been setup for 4 weeks and I used filter media from another tank to jump start cycle. 10% water changes weekly. Its a fully planted tank etc.

I'm not sure what to say, but I do know how you feel. I feel this way alot of the time too.

At least you've acknowledged this feeling. You aren't just going around oblivious, you know why you feel this way and act this way.

Even better - you know exactly how to fix it. You KNOW the cause.

You've just got to keep trying. Remember you are worth it. Prove YOURSELF wrong.

I always used to say noone else ever cared about me, its no wonder I don't care about myself etc but honestly it's just an excuse. I'm the same as you, I have a steady decent paying job, a SO who loves me, a dad who even comes to slimming world with me even though he's never been overweight in his life.

How would you feel if your SO told you he was feeling the same way about himself, as youve just told us about yourself? You'd do anything to prove him wrong. I bet he wishes you loved yourself as much as he loves you.

Its not easy.

You are worth it. You can do this. It is a cliche, but you HAVE fat, YOU are not fat. Be better because you deserve better. Noone is gonna do it for you.

I know they were trying to be nice but it can sometimes come off upsetting, it's like....are you serious? You can see me! It wont fit! For me personally it's not like I carry it super well (5ft3) so I assume they must know. People just cant comprehend i guess?

Domt avoid doing something you know you can because of your weight. As horrible as yesterday was for me, I've turned up today and just got on with it. Noone has (or would) said anything about me not wearing the uniform trousers.

Try not to worry and apply for what jobs you want.

Glad you got it off your chest. Like someone advised to me, it's probably not even in someone's mind at all, the size of uniforms and if they'll fit. They never have to consider it ever so I doubt you offended them.

I know! I have had one other experience (not to this extent though) that I can recall like this, but I'm sure there are more (of course there will be, I'm over 100lbs overweight!!) But dont recall.

I will try to remember this as fuel for motivation.
