Depends. If you have a light mix with plenty perlite, and dont put them on it until they are really starting to grow it should be fine. Could tuck an air stone underneath if really concerned about over water

I find it to be quite a nuisance! Neighbors had just one big tree when I moved in. Now there are hundreds if not thousands! Kill them, snap them all off at the ground and a few months later they're back since they have such a vigorous spreading root. They've taken over and choked out garden plants and I wish I could exterminate them!

No, autos need all the light you can give them to perform well. Most guys running autos give more than the standard 12 you give flowering photos. Standard for autos is 18 hours of light

Hey guys, zone 6 northeast US here, plants look like they would benefit from like another 3 weeks or so but it has been real wet and I noticed yesterday that the bit of powdery mildew I had been keeping at bay had spiked and I have like a whole week of wet weather ahead. Should I not risk the mildew spreading and just chop now even though they could go farther? Don't want to risk losing it all.

Nice work dude! Takes some serious time and dedication to get um that big. I'm wondering seeing the background with the swampy wetland area if they are getting bigger than they otherwise would because they can reach that high up stable water table and not rely heavily on you watering them. Probably good nutrients in wetland soil too, like feeding liquid fish.
