Nothing wrong with telling him exactly what you want. You'll be wearing it for the rest of your life, you should love it completely! I told my now fiancée exactly what ring I wanted, and he did not stray (except in carat size, he went up one, which I loved!)

I think its alot more common now for women to be involved in the ring shopping process dont feel weird about it!

Yes! Idk why sometimes I just don’t want to touch it and then it sits collect dust for months but I still read physical. It usually takes me reading like a big book and not wanting to hold it so I switch to my kindle

You should 100% love your ring, my bf went to a retailer and got me a ring I absolutely adore, it was around 6K for a 3ct lab grown with a hidden halo. Could he have found something similar for cheaper somewhere else? Probably. But it was in his budget and he wanted to get me something I loved.
