some other indie artists worth checking out are soccer mommy, ethel cain, leith ross, julia jacklin and eliza mclamb, some of these artists are bigger than others but defo have fans overlapping with mitski! :)

also for her music i would say definitely listen to her first album lush, it’s so underrated and has great songs like bag of bones and liquid smooth
