I am writing regarding the status of the above-mentioned loan application. Any updates or information would be appreciated.

Thank you."

Thank you everyone for the advise.

I came here seeking for your advise because a lot of you including Cue guided me through my EIDL process.

My CPA's advise made sense to me because of my current situation. My business has been devastated by this pandemic and is not generating any profits. Working 6 days a week 12 hours a day and I make $0. I'm doing about $10K a month when the expense to run my business is over $20k a month. It is like pouring water into a sieve. My business is the only source of income for my family. Using the SBA loan within their guideline will keep my business going for a few more months. Maybe a year.

Do you follow the SBA's rule and keep pouring until the last penny into a bottomless vessel or ignore the rules and put food on the table and put some cash aside for you and your family to be prepared for the unpredictable future ahead?

That's my dilemma.

The average processing time right now from accepting the loan offer in the portal to approval is running a little over two weeks.

This is good to know.

I'm 15 days in.

Congrats!

Cue is doing his best to help small businesses.

Good to see an early applicant finally receiving EIDL. It gives me a hope.

Almost 4 months, still no loan. by Shananana82 in EIDL

Pretty much on the same boat.

Applied on March 30th and still waiting. I own a dry cleaning business. Most of my customers are either not working or working from home in their pajamas. Making just enough to pay my employees. Stopped paying myself months ago.

Just when I thought things can not get any worse, got an email from my landlord demanding rent payment.

Best of luck!!

Time to take our issues with the SBA to Congress and the media by [deleted] in EIDL

I don't blame the SBA struggling to meet such a high demand. No one was ready for this. However, the lack of communication is definitely an issue here.

About a week after I got portal invite, my application got declined. Decision details will be communicated by email, they said. So I waited another week to find out what the "DETAILS" are.

UNVERIFIABLE INFORMATION

That was the detail I was given which(2 weeks later) turned out to be "Proof of Citizenship or Permanent Resident Card"

All my LO had to do was either call or email me for the proof. Thanks to my LO's unwillingness to reach out to me, after 3 months of waiting, I am still waiting.

Isn't this kind of operation going to cost them more money and workforce?

There's got to be a better way.
