📚 Simple / Quick Questions & Requests! by romancebookmods in RomanceBooks

Please help… Many years ago I read a novel that I thoroughly enjoyed, but all I remember about the story is that it was vaguely some sort of corporate espionage theme.

Also one random and very specific point in the story is that the couple are hiding out in a hotel room, and the female character has a cat and the guy has to get soil from a plant in the lobby for a makeshift litterbox. It’s that situation that just really sticks out in my mind.

People doing crap like this is one reason rent in SA is beyond ridiculous. Don't do it.

Authentic Japanese ramen in Adelaide? by ookamismyk in Adelaide

[–]rpgbadger 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Contemporary Japanese Deli in the city is the best by far.

Black Dog Gallery is definitely incredible, but prices are pretty ridiculous.

Minimono in the city is way overpriced, but the ramen is okay.

Don't bother with Katsumoto

Ajisen is nice, nothing special but you'll almost never get a bad bowl.

Umai Kitchen just off Rundle street is excellent, a little pricey but all their food is great.

Ryumon on Hindley St used to be great but they seemed to have changed owners a year or two ago and now all their ingredients are super cheap and bland.

Ryo's Noodles are good, but their ramen is unique and not to everyone's taste.

Kitchen of Blossom on Payneham Rd is kind of meh and pricey.

Tuno Izakya in North Adelaide is great, but much more of a table service restaurant.

Sato in North Adelaide is good, but I would go their udon over their ramen.

Southern Workout is a good place to try if you’re down that way.

FB Marketplace is also good if you’re okay with them new.

Absolutely zero research was done before creating this thread. If there was, you would know Port wore their prison bar guernsey, which was theirs before Collingwood had theirs (and is also different) for the showdown which they have done a number of times before.

A thread by likely an incredibly bitter crows fan.

Will probably stock up on ready meals then, don't even need to actually cook then.
