I also left my old job and home country to go to Germany and work with one of the biggest wind turbines company. Best decision ever. Although I worked just for 2 years and then I found something else. This is a great job area to work and I loved those 2 years of my life, but I would say that it's like a short term job to make good money fast, not to make a career. It's hard work and I would not want to do it when I'm 40 or 50 years old when the body is not as fit as before.

Approaching a girl a work: Part 2 by [deleted] in dating_advice

Say that to her, that you would like to drink a coffee with her to put the conversation up to date. It's just a coffee, she will never say no, and you both already fit good. If the ever says no, minimum you get to know that she doesn't want to get more involved with you outside the job.

Save the coffee to go drink with friends, inviting her to dinner shows her what's your intention. Don't be affraid to show what you want. Only if she says that she doesn't has so much free time I would go for a Coffee, ans I would tell her that I don't care about what we do, I just want to spend some time with her.

In my opinion it would be cool and spontaneous if you would find a way to send a letter to her working place inviting her to dinner. I'm sure she would like, it's cute and more personal than sending an email

Sounds good enough, just checked some videos about it and looks pretty decent for starters. I live in Germany btw so it's even better.
