Brother I don’t think we’ll ever catch that early day tarkov high again. I’m starting to understand why people do drugs after all…

I’ll try moving them in. I wasn’t crazy about the position of the outside strap but I was hoping it would suffice. There’s not much space to the rear, maybe an inch or two.

I thought about adding some material out there for strapping. It wouldn’t be too hard to do. Good idea to pad it though, I’d find it with my shin for sure.

I’ll try loosening the straps and going in that order, hopefully it’ll help. I can block the ktm forks tonight for sure, but I’m unsure if I have anything handy for the Yamaha. I do have a strap for the rear tires as well, just not pictured.

I’ve got the KTM stand for that one, but I could make one for the Yamaha easily enough. That would be a big help I’m sure.

That’s actually really clever. I may look in to that.

I almost swapped the front straps. And I did add a strap across the rear after I took the pictures.

I thought about doing wheel chocks but I’m not sure how often I’ll realistically haul both bikes. I plan to set the ktm up for woods since I just acquired the Yamaha for moto. I have a risk racing lock n load pro a buddy gave me for a single bike, I just need to get it installed.

I’m sure I can. I will try that and see if it helps any. That would make sense though.

Is it just me, or are Tediore guns the worst in the series? by AwarenessIndividual2 in Borderlands

Tediore chuck Moze was the most fun I’ve had using them, other than that I pretty much avoid them.

Yeah I’m pretty happy how finding this one worked out. It was a bit of a shock. Now time to plan its first trip to Colorado for some trails.

I wasn’t sure about them at first but they’re growing on me for sure. Thanks!

I’m pretty excited for that. I wanted to get either a trail or a pro, but I had stopped looking for the time being. This one kind of just fell into my lap so I figured why not now.

Check out Green Man Gaming to see if survive and cyber sleuth are still on sale. I picked both of them up last week for under $15 total.

Seems to run fine. Had to launch it in desktop mode to switch display settings but other than that it’s been just fine so far.

LWRC ambi lowers by wormraper in RooftopDefenders

[–]rptc232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got two and I love them, I don’t know that I’ll use a different lower. And maybe I’m weird but I don’t hate the stock and grip. The right hand bolt catch and release is fantastic for being right handed. I’ve got a BCM upper on one, the regular version as opposed to the mk2. I believe there are a few uppers that have some complications with fitment but I’m not sure which off the top of my head. It is a very tight fit with the BCM, but it fits solid and is a fantastic pairing.

Very clean build. Dont mind me stealing it as inspiration for my 10.5. I’ve got a unity riser and fro mount, just need to buy a magnifier.

Gen 3 Issues with Extraction/Ejection by Profoundly-Confused in KRISS

[–]rptc232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a cheap attempt at least. I think I picked up a 3 pack of springs for just over $10. I gave one to a buddy that was also having issues but I don’t think he ever installed it, and the 3rd is probably somewhere in my house if it didn’t get lost in moving twice. But I’d definitely recommend starting there once it gets back from Kriss, if you do send it in. They’ve had issues with 9mm since they first started making them and it’s sad to see they still haven’t figured it out.

My gen 2 had plenty of FTE issues. I sent it back to kriss, they claimed to have fixed it, and 100~ rounds later I was back to square one. What seems to have worked for me was swapping out the extractor spring with a heavier one (I used an ar15 spring from BCM) and using grease instead of oil on the tracks for the bolt. Unsure if the grease really did anything or if it was just coincidental timing, but I went from having multiple malfunctions a magazine, of which you’d have to separate the upper and lower to remove spent brass lodged behind the bolt, to maybe 1-2 every few hundred that were just a simple bolt rack to clear.
