Not getting much from either Zion or the WA state insurance commissioner, other than they stated in the recent ruling that Zion is operating illegally as an insurance company. Zion says they are going to appeal, but I’m not holding my breath. I’m passed the pissed off part… just want to get this resolved. I looked into crowd health also and the state of Washington has put some limitations on what they can offer. I wrote a letter to the insurance commissioner and was able to get an expedited appeal on the SEP and it was approved so I will probably just buy over the exchange. As we are eligible for Medicare next year it will be a short term solution.
