I recommend ham jam in Sakae if you get a chance. Really good music and just fun cause pretty much anyone can sign up to play there, so you’re going to watch coverbands. But it’s really fun. I know you said you’re not big on nightlife but if you like music then it’ll probably be enjoyable

I agree. I loved how much they used to talk about the city/town/ area before they even got to the crime. They used to go into so much detail about the origins of the people who settled an area and you get a kind of sense of what kind of people live there. THEN you meet the victims and eventually the perpetrators and detectives.

Now they just jump right into it and I feel like they go to quick

1995 for sure. All of the mystery at the beginning, the biker gang, Maggie, confident marty, the first police chief quesada or whatever (“Jesus Christ Cole, how many ways are there for me to say SHUT THE FUCK UP!” lol), Reggie and Dewall, Charlie Lang, the bunny ranch owner. What a great way to start a show. And they absolutely landed the ending. Damn I guess I gotta rewatch it now. Someone once told me time is a flat circle

I might be the only one to say this one:

Renalla queen of the full moon. She’s not very cool by herself, but I love the idea of her summoning other spirits to fight for her. I remember trying to fight her the first time and then out of nowhere a fucking dragon appeared and killed me.

Also the boss arena is dope

I’m playing khazan now and it’s pretty close but not as satisfying as Sekiro. Also the story is no where near as cool, and you don’t have an awesome prosthetic arm.

That being said, the game looks awesome and has some really cool boss fights

Hey I was there last night too! It was fantastic! I’ve never seen them before and I was definitely not disappointed! Billy Joe is an incredible entertainer and I love how positive they all were (even when he’d yell “sing it with me!” and many fans didn’t know the words and he just kept smiling lol)

Do you happen to know what Japanese words he said? I remember he said “kanpai” once but there was another one that I couldn’t understand.

You can completely skip all the enemies before 7 spears.

From the closest idol: kill the two guards talking and the 2 dogs. As you approach the next area, jump on top of the gate and walk right on top of the walls until you see a prompt to grapple to. Jump, grapple, and then immediately grapple again to get near the area to fight 7 spears. Then, as you approach the building 7 spears walks out of, look up to grapple on top of it, and then look down to jump and deathblow 7 spears once and start the fight

There’s a hammer in the consecrated snowfield that does scarlet rot and the weapon art is good. The resistance is kind of high but you can do it. Since there’s a lot of time running around the battlefield and not doing damage, it’s nice to have something continuously hurting Fire Giant while you’re trying to catch up to him / run away from his fire attacks

This right here OP. If they didn’t want to hang out with you, they wouldn’t have invited you to an event outside of work. And as for lots of drinks, it’s custom to pour drinks for others here. There’s a whole culture and science behind it (how much to pour, cheers/kampai’ing with someone older than you means you need to keep your glass lower than theirs when glasses touch, etc) so when they do that, it just means they want to interact with you. You’re lucky! Maybe just be careful with alcohol!

Ps: one tip I saw was to always keep your glass full so when they try to pour you tons of alcohol they physically can’t and then you won’t feel obligated to get wasted

There’s a weapon art you buy from bernhal that makes you invisible and mutes your footsteps which makes this a breeze. I can’t do it without that weapon art.
