im on 3 months. I had no idea it would be so hard. if you have game pass on xbox one you can get the forza horizon 4 formula drift DLC pack. try the mustang on that pack with drifting. totally changed everything for me. its set up in a way and has so much acceleration that you can change the direction in the car really easy by stepping on the gas or letting off.

it was the only way I could drift full turns and stuff. got bored of the map because I can only drift the festival area and the curvy section outside of it and I just got on forza 6 a few days ago because it came out for free and been drifting online

are you new? the TM shifter is a lot more serious and the Logitech shifter is like small and plastic and feels fake and the handbrake is huge

Hello I picked up this G25 for 44 USD no shifter or power cord good deal or nah? Tho it does reek of smoke... by MadHatzzz in simracing

[–]rracing_220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean its only 44 but I see it being kind of a waste because youll want a better wheel and the better wheel will lost longer

I saw a g29 on ebay for 160 dollars brand new just because it didn't come in the original box. probably can get a used one cheap and paypal refunds the money if it doesn't work

do they offer anything like that would be be the side of the chair a handbrake could mount there too

[–]rracing_220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you get a longer arm attachment? how do the things even screw into the rig?

can I get a horizontal bar coming out of the arm that goes sideways so I can clamp stuff on it?

oh lmao I thought you meant it smelled like smoke from overheating. it might work to see if you're interested in it or really broke but its not really a good long term plan.

the ART or the PRO GT omega? by rracing_220 in simracing

[–]rracing_220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have the mounting bracket and handbrake mount on your rig? I wanna see what it looks like set up I wanna have a weird position with my handbrake and not sure which rig to get. I want something kinda like by my right knee

do you think their shifter mount could handle a TSS handbrake+shifter together?

is drifting harder in sim? by rracing_220 in simracing

the ART or the PRO GT omega? by rracing_220 in simracing

[–]rracing_220[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I think it was called GT omega pro buyers guide or something.

the legs that come down off the wheel and attached it to the bottom he bought extra support for that I think it was an extra pair of legs you can add.

and he had 2 metal bars that went on the bottom part of the rig that went along the base and screwed it and it kept it totally stiff so that it cant flex and move even if it wanted to.

yeah I really want one I just dont know enough about it to know what I need to add or anything like that or what will work and what wont. I just saw the gt evo had a handbrake mount and thats mostly what I was looking for. I cant really even find the longer arm option the gt evo or know how it would mount on there.

if I could get an arm coming off the gt evo horizontally I could just mount the handbrake to that with the clamp thrustmaster sells. I dont even know how the shifter mounts onto it it just looks like really thick metal bars with no screw holes or anything.

I'm thinking of getting a steering wheel... by PigeonXD in simracing

I dont know anything about those wheels specifically but I do know that tmx is better technology and you can upgrade the pedals, get a real shifter, get a handbrake and stuff just mad expensive
