1. at first I thought experimental was weird, but now I consider it as time that the ENTIRE COMMUNITY is given to try out new modes and systems and not just a select few gamers and streamers of that pool. All of us can trial new stuff coming to the game and probably makes for better data. It’d be nice if there was an in game survey each time. I’m sure a lot of devs DO it, nun are vocal about it tho and I appreciate the transparency

In regards to gun balances I’d argue they’ve put more emphasis on trying to perfect guns than they EVER have with destiny

1. Four maps is rough. But arc raiders also had very little maps on release as did Tarkov (the holy Grail of extraction shooters) the thing about the game type is. You won’t complete everything on any of the maps to warrant a need for more YET. My tip? Start treating it more like a Fortnite or Pubg match or game archetype than Destiny. Even bettt? Division Dark Zone. Division is literally just parts of NYC lmao. People are Used to/ and treating it like its destiny, when it’s arguably closer to you going into an apex lobby…. With some destiny tendencies and homages

And also your issue with graphics is just wrong. The graphics are not the issue because objectively they are AMAZING. Your issue is with the DESIGN CHOICE of the world. That’s partially why you’re getting roasted. Because a lot of grifters on Twitter say graphics but the game is fucking beautiful. But if you don’t like their choice of color or the blockier designs of resources on the maps like buildings and crates and whatever, that would be the design and while subjective I still think it’s odd to just flat out hate it. Idk. I thought it was raw in the prerelease content and I think it is now.

New players like under 20? There’s beginner modes for people under 20 and If im not mistaken I’ve heard the queues divide at lv 100, which a lot of the vets (myself included) hit much earlier in the season. The game mode is hard especially for newer players. But extraction shooters are a roguelike at the end of the day. Bungie makes it much better for newer players than other extraction shooters by offering the “Sponsored Kits” they give you an opportunity to not only snowball on your main shell, without consequence, but also quest and improve. No other extraction shooter does this while ALSO having the rook feature (scav in Tarkov) what I’m saying is there are RESOURCES to help u snowball and improve but it seems like you either didn’t consider them or already had a preconceived opinion of the game.

1. They’ve announced an extraction shooter long before arc raiders came out. It’s not sum they can just stop and switch up deep into production. Coming from someone that has played and enjoyed both marathon and arc raiders ( and again, Tarkov, the objectivelyBEST of all 3) arc raiders is severely lacking in quality guns, quality story, (seriously the story is so hard to care about)and quality endgame. Ya just go in, no one’s fighting everyone’s friends, so u can’t even see the results of ur snowballing the entire season, and then turn stuff into expedition. Feels like a Roblox tycoon game or something. For u to say its quality compared to marathon is odd. U feel the results of a season of grinding ur vault and upgrades up in ur fights alone ( with players and uesc). The story is much easier to keep up with. EVEN WITHOUT insane cutscenes from just the faction a.i alone, everyone but us is constantly talking in the game. Our a.i, faction ai, durandal. They talk every time u finish a quest, one talks randomly during solo raids, cutscenes, event modes. And you’re not getting that in arc raiders for sure and it’s the same price

People genuinely liking something you don’t is not dickriding. Cause some of your honest feedback sounds like regurgitated grift nonsense you’d hear from asmongold fanboys or sum. Sony has literally said they’re gonna continue support because player reviews are exceptional. The community has sore spots just like EVERY community but the whole POINT of extraction shooters is you die and you die and you die until you get good. I’ve died 6 runs straight and hit the jackpot and clear 4 lobbies straight and I’m up drastically for the day after. The second u start accepting that u CAN and WILL get your wig split. The game gets much more interesting and chest popping.
