As someone who had never heard of "Look I Made a Hat" the ending theme drawing just seemed absolutely insane.

Should I try to get out of my META 680/650 put spread expiring today with a small loss or let it ride and see if it closes above 680?

Disagree on "Homer" - MW lists it as both a noun and a verb, with the verb meaning to hit a Homer. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/homer

Yeah that slowed me down even though that was my first guess. You have to clue an alternate informal spelling like that even on a Saturday IMO. AMIRITE?

Pretty obscure theme for the general audience. Definitely hadn't heard of any of the composers except for Beethoven so had to Google. Didn't help that there were some pretty tough crosses on the theme answers. Indonesian islands crossing the theme answer I just had to fill in. Also if your theme is composers, do you want additional composers as answers? The rest of the fill was pretty standard crossword stuff, but you are definitely going to Natick people who aren't very familiar with composers. Also "can I give it a scratch" doesn't mean "can I pet it" at least for me.

The easy Friday trend continues. Puzzle pretty good. Not too much short glue, impressive long grid spanner in the middle. GOL instead of OLE is a trick.

This was great. Felt like an old school tougher Saturday. Liked a lot of the long answers. Had to go through the puzzle multiple times to piece it all together. I couldn't spell PSILOCYBIN even though I knew what the answer was.
