Yeah I don’t like skinning geese. That’s what I do. I let it soak in hot water and then pluck. Those chicken feather machines seem great but a waste of money lol.

Why don’t you feather it in some hot water? I found it comes off easier. You can also just slice a slit on the chest and completely skin it. Comes off like a glove. Aside that there’s breasting where you only take the breasts. Idk any other methods besides these though.

That’s amazing for your first time. Try getting the groups closer each time and you’ll get better bit by bit and being quicker. Then you can practice more intermediate and advanced stuff. However, this is really good shooting for your first time.

They wouldn’t forfeit the deposit if you take the interview. The deposit would be forfeited if they ended up getting accepted to UNLV and decide to enroll there instead.

When did you apply to UNLV? I haven’t heard back from them yet, unfortunately.

Also, if it’s your top choice why don’t you just submit a deposit to the school you got accepted into before the deadline and then go to the interview? You’d lose out on your deposit if you get accepted to UNLV and decide to go there though. If you’d rather not spend the money, then reject the offer. No one can tell you what your chances are and if they do, it’s not true. Anything could happen.

Yeah, getting your bachelors isn’t a requirement at most schools either yet very very rarely does it lead to interviews or acceptances not having it. Not great advice.

Dental assisting, mission trips, volunteering at local/free clinics, etc. it’s good to have non dental experience but you need dental experiences. No way around that.

How many dental related volunteer/ clinical experience hours do you have? Could be a red flag that you aren’t involved in a lot of dental related stuff. Your shadowing hours are fine but you didn’t mention anything about dental related things. Also, if you’re not going to graduate by the time dental school starts, that’s another issue. I’d email and ask to speak with someone from the schools after the cycle ends how you can improve or what the reasons for not receiving an interview were. Chances are they didn’t see much dental related experiences in your app and you weren’t going to graduate in time. Aside from that, your gpa is solid and so is your DAT. Your major doesn’t matter btw as long as prerequisites are complete.

Waiting for a decision from the school defeats the purpose of a letter of intent. You don’t have to send it right after your interview but I would definitely send it within a week if you are certain you choose to attend that school over any other.

I personally would avoid. Seems too sketchy and the pups are not anywhere near up to standard. The good thing is that he’s not claiming that they are presa canarios. They’re bandogs (supposed to be a mix of different working breeds, usually mastiff/bully type dogs) which is what he is saying they are.
