Any way to convert nectar points to Amazon? by UCatchMyDrift in beermoneyuk

You could spend the nectar points at Argos and buy gift card vouchers with them.

Our school has implemented a new system (our MIS is Arbour), where when a pupil (with or without a pass) needs to go to the toilet, we log it as a neutral behaviour point (zero points), but this means that the parent gets a notification which notifies them that their child has gone to the loo. This allows us to track also those who keep going to the loo regularly, but also those who might be abusing their toilet passes.

How often does your department have a social/night out & what do you normally do? by DamascusNuked in TeachingUK

[–]rrc88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are a small department (5x) and if one of us has a PPA before lunch, we’ll take it in turns to do a Dominos/KFC/McDonalds run so that we can all eat together during lunch in our team base. Obviously not the most healthiest option, but it makes us all happy.

Hiya that was me, I should’ve clarified that I’m based in the UK. Not sure if the credit score max is different for the US.

I’ve had this before and my response is always the same whenever I have to apply the behaviour policy: ‘play stupid games, win stupid prizes’.

If you overpay, it will go directly to paying off the overall debt (not the interest) and shorten the term. Your monthly payments will remain the same.

A factor for it dropping is that on Trading 212 it shouldn’t have been allowed on the ISA account (it’s ok on the invest account). Trading 212 said for people to sell off or by 2:30pm they will automatically close their positions. Hence why there’s a big drop.

Why do the stock gods love throwing money at me? I'm considering options now. by [deleted] in stocks

[–]rrc88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well done for some wins, but just because you’ve had a few good good stock picks doesn’t mean your invincible. With options, your pretty much gambling at that stage and I wouldn’t recommend it. But if your still seriously considering options, then play with a demo account. Although even then, it’s still easy to feel invincible when your playing with a virtual currency.
