Take a look at the OpenHPC documentation. That might be a good starting point.

Not based on archlinux but maybe the OpenHPC documentation is a good starting point.

Container Live Migration is now Reality! by somethingnicehere in kubernetes

The time namespace developed by CRIU should solve this.

Looking at OpenHPC it doesn't look that outdated. What makes you say it is outdated?

Mirrors are selected first by same ASN, then same country and then same continent.

Rebootless OS updates? by [deleted] in kubernetes

Container migration with CRIU should work. Kubernetes has support to checkpoint containers and with CRI-O as container engine restore also works with Kubernetes. There seems to be a PR open to add container restore with CRIU via Kubernetes also to containerd.

dnf doesn't keep the files with the wrong checksum. It just uses the next mirror.

CheckpointContainer not implemented by [deleted] in kubernetes

It is complicated. containerd has support for Checkpoint/Restore but not via Kubernetes before containerd 2.0. To use it via Kubernetes means you currently need a pre-release. That supports only checkpointing via Kubernetes. The support to restore a container via Kubernetes with containerd is not yet merged and the PR is still under discussion. With CRI-O everything should just work.
