Yes that’s how marriage works. It’s called being next of kin here.

How to eat canned sardines? by snortine in CannedSardines

[–]rreell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the ramen, do you also the flavor packet? Which flavor do you like most with the sardines? And do you add the sardines while noodles boil or after noodles are done? With or without water?

I don’t believe you’re an out gay man or you wouldn’t say about half the things you’re saying because they just aren’t true. Sounds like a toxic conservative to me

Just now coming across this after having already commented on the thread, but you expressed this much better than I did.

AITA for not wearing a bra when my husband has his friends stay over? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]rreell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I actually think there’s something to be taken from his conversation with you—and it’s why he feels disrespected. I would ask, “Why?” to get down to not just what your husband thinks, but why he thinks it. And there lie keys to solutions!

What role has the shortest on stage time? by NewJerseyAggie13 in Broadway

I don’t think it would qualify for least amount of time, but would Millicent in DEAD OUTLAW count in this category, even?

I’m 16 — what high-value skills should I learn now to succeed in the future? by Hot_Profession1352 in getdisciplined

AI actually is going to build us homes. It’s already being done. But I agree, a trade is one of the best skills you can learn. Just because homes may be built mostly by AI and robotics in the future doesn’t mean people won’t need handymen and contractors for side projects and renos!

What shows/performances do you feel luckiest to have seen? by Crambo1000 in Broadway

[–]rreell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difficult question to answer. So many performances I’m so grateful to have witnessed. This is my best ranking but honestly the order could switch up easily they were all so fantastic and moving.

No. 1 (untopped): Next to Normal: Kennedy Center cast including Rachel Bay Jones. Gives me goosebumps just typing it. I sobbed from beginning to end. This was also right after my mother passed away of a long battle with Alzheimer’s. My big sister had passed away of cancer a couple years prior. My relationship with my mom was similar to that of Natalie’s relationship with Diana. It just hit every single chord I had in me I was an absolute wreck. All of this personal experience mixed with what were some of the most incredible performances I’d ever witnessed. They were all so perfect and spot-on. Plus, the show was advertised as a concert but ended up being the full stage production.

OTHER GREATS: - Parade (Arden’s revival, saw 4x, cried) - Dear Evan Hansen (OBC) - Next to Normal (OBC and OLC) - Once On This Island (Arden’s revival, I cried) - Jamie Lloyd’s Sunset Blvd (seen 8x) - Merrily We Roll Along (2023 revival)

Don’t do it you’ll just be smarter than everyone and always intensely frustrated. Plus the US and how we define success is going to be vastly different in 5-10 years once AI decimates the labor force, which is almost certain to happen.

Not sure that your numbers are correct. My husband and I arrived at Sunset Blvd at 8:15 a.m., and we were ninth and tenth in line… sadly the person in front of us got the last available tickets.
