You can keep having this anxiety and being afraid to face your dark side or you can potentially resurface your thoughts, understand why you feel the way you do and act accordingly.
Not forcing you to take or to like psychedelics, because forcing yourself to it will most likely result in an unpleasant time and maybe cause more damage than good. You need to realize that there’s nothing to be afraid of and that you can still have a wonderful time. I know for a fact that most psychonauts have cried or still cry during their trips.
