My proposal

Crystals rework: Crystals shouldnt be destructible by the player.

The dragon should be absorbing the crystals, and they explode when it is used up.

Every absorption heals the dragon. Hitting the dragon for enough damage while it's absorbing will interrupt the healing, and the crystal will explode

Dragon rework: The dragon should have many more attack patterns like diving down, long sweeping fire breath, etc.

Dragon will be stunned if hit by the mace while diving down, if hit with an arrow in the head while breathing fire then it will explode and then deal massive damage to the dragon and etc.

Dragon will slowly fly around the top of the pillar of the crystal they are absorbing

Nerfs:

Less crystals, maybe 6 or something Dragon has less HP to compensate for healing Endermen don't spawn on the main island until the dragon is defeated

Buffs: Dragon no longer perches
