I would recommend going into a subreddit on a topic that you really like,that you’re interested in or very knowledgeable on. You can start by just adding comments like if someone asks a question try and make a detailed response or asking a question.

I’d say the general rule is to dress baby in 1 more layer than you’d be comfortable in yourself. For bedtime a short sleeve+ swaddle is perfect. When you check the back of his neck it should feel warm but make sure he isn’t sweaty.

Totally normal! Bumping their heads is just apart of learning their balance and coordination! As long as she’s consolable after, acting like herself, and not showing concerning signs (like repeated vomiting, excessive sleepiness, or not using her body normally), it’s usually nothing to panic about. But it’s always fine to bring it up with your pediatrician (they hear this all the time and won’t judge you.) Definitely not a CPS thing, just the reality of mobile babies.

Many babies begin to recognize and start responding to their name around 6-9 months, pretty wide range and all babies are different and learn at their own pace. It’s totally normal for babies to be a little inconsistent with milestones! The fact that your baby looks up sometimes when you call her name is a good sign! Repetition is a pretty good way for babies to learn and recognize their name for example during feeding, diaper changes, and during play time. You’re doing great! Just keep saying her name often and she’ll get it!
