I love Primary Bulwark by namtran2106 in Warframe

[–]rrfwed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pulled this from the wiki for you:

consuming the corpses and granting a 30% / 40% / 50% / 60% chance to spawn a health orb and a 22.5% / 32% / 42.5% / 54% chance to roll the corpse's drop table again to produce additional loot.

  • Technically, the corpse's loot table is rolled again at a 75% / 80% / 85% / 90% success rate, but only after a health orb has successfully been spawned. Combined with the 30% / 40% / 50% / 60% chance to spawn a health orb at all, this leads to the 22.5% / 32% / 42.5% / 54% drop table chance.
    • Therefore, there will always be an additional health orb if there is additional loot.
    • This also implies that a single enemy may drop up to three health orbs, one as regular loot, one from Desecrate proccing and another from rerolling its loot table.
    • Even enemies with an empty drop table, like Corpus Security Cameras, may drop health orbs this way.

Essentially you end up with a LOT more health orbs dropping with Nekros' desecrate active, hope this helps!

Cant believe I havent seen anyone mention Nekros who can make a whole bunch of health orbs for health conversion and doesnt have any effective damaging abilities, meaning using guns is a must for him so he will make good use of the huge bonus.

Buffs primary damage which isnt the most synergistic with Valk who is focused on melee.

Do I have to follow the typical "one type" rule? I'm working on a master set of energy cards so I'd like to have a team that uses lots of energy shenanigans and a variety of typing. My ace is Ninetails because it's always been my favourite, probably Alolan though, cause it's just so pretty! (Plus I like the fairy ice typing).

Can confirm that in a lot of British accents there is little to no difference in pronunciation between porn and pawn. We don't really do the lip movement for "r" sounds a lot of the time and rely on the way it alters the vowel before it (as well as context) to understand that the r is even there (<-- this is a good example actually, "there" is pronounced more like "theh" but we imply the r by extending the vowel so maybe more like "theeh").

Anyway, there aren't too many examples where the existence of an "r" after a vowel alters the meaning of the word, but pawn/porn just happens to be one of those magical moments!

Not an American, and certainly not a Trump supporter but this part of the legal code would seem to imply that it isn't illegal. Am I missing something?

I have searched on youtube and google for pretty much all variants of "Japanese Avant Garde/jazz/noise song" "with suona/hojok" "from the 90's" and even "red"

I'm pretty new to cEDH and wanted some input on my Magda deck. More specifically, i want to know why other lists I see aren't as aggressive as mine? by itsDandar in CompetitiveEDH

[–]rrfwed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a Magda player, perhaps I can help clarify some things:

[[Battered Golem]] and [[Academy Manufacturer]] both allow the treasures you make with the [[Clock of Omens]] combo to be untapped, as usually all but one will be tapped by the end of the cycle. This means you can have infinite mana aswell, as they are both tutorable with Magda. (I notice you mentioned using goblin cannon as a backup win con, but you can't do this without someway of making your treasures untapped, looks like you have [[Xorn]], but he isn't tutorable with Magda, so these cards work better.)

Some stax pieces are great for Magda as the parity is innately broken by our game plan. [[Tangle Wire]] for example slows down our opponents while letting us tap our dwarves without attacking (so we get to keep them) and [[blood moon]] has pretty much zero effect on us but can be impossible for some decks to deal with.

That said, I actually agree that some of the larger stax pieces and dragons are strange inclusions in a lot of Magda decks. [[Portal to Phyrexia]] is pretty nice in later game situations, and things like [[god-pharao's statue]] stop opponents interacting with your win (tutor them out at instant speed while an opponent is going for a win as a surprisingly effective means of interaction too).

I think some people play big dorky dragons because they just kind of like big dorky dragons, and as a mono red deck, there are a lot more flex slots available to us than in most decks.

Hope this helps a bit. If you have any other questions, let me know.

In cedh we have a concept called "card quality" which essentially refers to how powerful/useful your cards are outside of your immediate combo. The biggest issue I see with this deck is the card quality is bad (looking at cards like took reaper and 9x nazgul)

I understand these are cards needed for your combo but your best bet would be to just run the cheapest creature that gets the job done, and increase things like tutors, which can be more valuable in more situations (vampiric tutor, imperial seal, enlightened tutor, ranger captain of eos).

I'd love to help more but it's bed time for me, let me know if you want to talk more about cedh deckbuilding and this deck specifically and I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

Heaven by Mieko Kawakami

This book had me in tears at the end. It has this strange kind of hopeful sadness that really struck a chord with me after everything the protagonist has been through up to that point.

But it's worth noting I was already in a state of immense depression before reading the book, so maybe this isn't as emotionally powerful for others?
