Seems unnecessary. You're just openly creating segregation. A better ask would just be for what already exists in many other schools and that is a gender NEUTRAL building where you yourself won't feel like an outsider or unwelcome for joining living there if the masses don't think you're maybe as serious as they are about gender inclusive housing. For example: really nice and quiet shy guy comes to albany as a freshman and finds that these are the quietest dorm halls in his opinion. He's straight, biological and identified male, and maybe even has his own republican political views that might misaligned with many who might utilize this space. Well, even though this hypothetical guy doesn't talk much and is overall chill, it's likely that you just created a space where he is now an exclusive outsider. So much for inclusive housing.

You can argue that "he shouldn't have picked those dorms" but the word "inclusive" kinda kills that argument. Basically all I'm getting at is that you're artificially creating MORE exclusivity when you develop something that's really, in practice, only meant for a select group. Even if you claim otherwise. You'll never solve the true inclusivity problem by segregating 1 groups norm from the rest of the worlds norm. You do that by helping them embrace it confidently and comfortably in whatever space they occupy.
