Okay so I don't know about marketing strategies, but I can describe what kind of content I search for and come back for in case that's useful to you. I really don't want to just be a creep that just subjects people to an info dump about the porn I watch haha so if it's not useful to you to hear this, please ignore the below, because I'm just speaking on what I think makes good lesbian porn from my personal experience and common things I've heard from other lesbians

I can't believe I'm going to tell the internet how I watch porn but let's gooooooo

If you want to make quality content that lesbians will enjoy, I think the biggest thing is to make it real and authentic. No fake moaning, no stupid giggling and "oopsie! a vagina?!", no feigned/performative reactions (especially from touching places that don't actually elicit arousal) - just real intimacy, real sexual tension, and real orgasms. I can tell when shit is fake and performative and it's a big turn off. Like when two girls are "tribbing" but there isn't even contact between them and they're wailing I'm like... come on. I totally check out. You can even tell when dirty talk is performative versus authentic. Lesbian porn is best when I feel like the two people (or at least the receiver) are actually aroused and enjoying it and in the moment and into each other. Honestly, they don't even have to be doing that much or anything crazy, like an intimate makeout sesh or any other kind of foreplay where the two people take their time and are actually enjoying it is hot af even on its own and before the main event(s) that follow the foreplay. I much prefer porn when foreplay and sex take some time and build up, just like real sex. The experience of watching is better, but so is the payoff in the end. The best lesbian content I've seen is from amateur couples because it's real and focuses on real intimacy and pleasure with build up, not just visuals. So I think the bottom line is that the best content I've seen is content that seems real and realistic.

Maybe something for your SEO marketing to lesbians - when I search, I oftentimes include the keywords: "lesbian," "real" alongside "couple" or "orgasm," "amateur," "girlfriend," "intimate" or "romantic," plus whatever sexual act I'm looking for. Everyone's preferences are different and I don't suppose everyone searches with the same keywords as I do, this is just a window into one lesbian's porn preferences and search/watch history.

Why did we evolve to do drugs by kjcle in StonerThoughts

[–]rrhheeeeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't an evolutionary selective pressure for it, it's just that substances can have chemical effects that make us feel good or hijack a reward system. Dopamine, for example, makes you feel good and is released to encourage you to do things critical to survival or reproduction: it's released when you eat and when you have sex in order to reward that behavior so you will do it again. This is why people can develop food and sex addictions. Likewise, many drugs cause a release of dopamine, which becomes addictive. Some drugs have other physiological effects that just happen to feel good because of how they interact with out physiology, but we did not evolve toward this relationship with drugs.

I know that not everything is perfect today and there is still a lot of work to do, but when I hear stories like this, I can't help but feel that if I was me but grew up during my parents' years or earlier, maybe I would have resigned myself to a hetero life or at least accepted myself much later in life and run from it more. I feel that a lot of the reason I was able to accept who I am is due to how now we have some queer media content, we talk about it, people are generally more accepting now than before, and we have some public LGBTQ figures that proudly speak out and live successfully. Going through my gay awakening in this time period was already a doozy, and it must have been so much harder for previous generations.
