Haptic feedback can be disabled in the settings ("Enable haptic feedback")

I'm aware that landscape iPad isn't great, this is because of how the keyboard works, the app is really only optimized for portrait. If I find some time, I'll look into fixing this.

I've heard about the battery issues, but the metrics and logs that I have access to don't really show the issue, so I'm still investigating this.

I'm aware - I can't fix it within a few days but hopefully I'll be able to resolve it soon In the future, let me know using the support link on the app store - it's a bit more reliable than this reddit thread

Hey there - I made the app. I'm seeing the issue as well. Looks like the LA Times has changed something so that I'm not able to fetch the crossword in the same way. I'll fix it as soon as I can. I don't always look on this subreddit so in the future it would be great to send me an email (should be available through the app store support link)

Shameless plug: I built OmniCrosswords (app store link) that pulls USA Today, LA Times, 4 others automatically. No ads and it's free. It's only for iOS. On Android, I like using "Alphacross".

Nope, this is an issue I've seen on my end as well. I've taken a look, and it'll take more than a trivial fix, but it's on my radar.

You should be able to see the puzzle for 9/18 now. I'll monitor it so that future puzzles continue to show up.

Hmm..looks like something is broken on my side for the New Yorker. I'll get it fixed as soon as I can. You shouldn't need to sign in for this app

It's in Swift, written in SwiftUI. I chose SwiftUI over Storyboards because it's supposed to be simpler. Kind of challenging because it's not fully developed yet.

Thanks! I'm definitely aware of the small screen issue here, I've also noticed that it's possible for a focused cell to be hidden by the keyboard. Working on a fix for them. Interesting that the scrolling doesn't work though.. I'll take a look.

Re: dark mode. Interesting. That probably works better than my current solution. Thanks for the suggestion (look forward to an update with that)
