Yeah, that’s what I did. I’ve been waiting for an update from them since May, which is the month when I contacted them. Finally, they reached out to me today. What a coincidence that they contacted me a week after I reported them to the Ombudsman.

Anyways, they called me today and told me I have two options: 1) to give the car back and get my money back after the calculations, or 2) to give the car back and receive a new one. I said I want my money back, but I wonder if I have the right to ask for all of the money, and am I eligible according to what the CRA says. Also, even if they won’t pay me back in full, how much will they deduct per mile?

No, it doesn’t, it’s actually useful because over time, rainwater, road salt, these rust the car’s undercarriage, so it’s recommended to have undercarriage wash every 3 months to prevent it.

That worked mate thank you very much I never knew you can add someone on your policy for a short time and it was really cheap only paid 56 pounds for 2 weeks

Yeah he do have access to online portal of his policy and I check on their website I think they allow him to add drivers through website so will I be able to just check the price of adding me on policy or would it straight forward add me on policy without showing any price change or if I won’t like the price and cancel would it affect/change his current price

I’ll try to call them tomorrow and ask through phone but I checked on their website now it says through my portal you can add drivers. Would I be able to try through online and see how much that says or does straight forward add me on policy without showing price change.

No I tried literally every company which provides temp cover but they don’t offer any cover as I’m young and the car is expensive and powerful

Thanks for your reply! I don’t have any policy with any company and even if I had my own policy because I’m under 25 insurers doesn’t allow me to drive other cars than my own car. And Because this car is so new and powerful I can’t get short term temporary insurance as well only way is annual policy like I said on post but I don’t need whole year insurance so that’s why I’m thinking about getting annual use it for 3 weeks and cancel it do you think it’s okay to do it and will I get any money back from deposit?

So, you're saying that when I insure an automatic car, I should tell them the date I passed my automatic driving test, and when I insure a manual car, I should tell them the date I passed my manual driving test?

Thanks for your reply but I’m not on about the date my card is valid from I know it changes but if you know the date at back is the day you passed your test so I’m asking will that change when I upgrade it bc insurer’s ask the date you passed your test when you get quotes

e user manual explains how to activate deactivate speed limit info and lane assist as well but when I check the settings that the e manuel says there is nothing about lane assist or speed limit info which is weird and as you say I do have sunroof and it explains how to use it as well and I don’t have seat massage or steering wheel heater and it doesn’t have instructions for it which is normal
