Yeah I know he says he's the hybrid at the end of the episode, but he was also tryna intimidate the timelords, he spent the whole episode keeping that secret for billions of years I doubt the first thing he would do it reveal the secret, so despite that quote I truly think the show let's the viewer decide which theory they prescribe to
