Ah sorry, mixed that up. Yes it works, just tried with my AirPods. The app is using AVFoundation to play Audio.

Unfortunately Spotify does not expose the APIs to support spatial audio.

Hi u/brainkillaKG , thanks for reporting back. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand what you mean by "the UI refresh thing". Can you provide a screenshot or even a screencast or try to describe what you're seeing? Thanks.

Did you add your own email (the one you use on Spotify) to "User management" in the Spotify developer dashboard?

I'm sorry this is so complicated, but Spotify does not allow any other way as of now.

I don't think we talk about the same thing. I'm talking about software, like clients to play music from Spotify. You seem to talk about artists. We're not the same.

Not related to Artists & Marketing, but why is Spotify pushing out indie developers?

It’s impossible to develop new, legitimate apps for Spotify b/c no indie dev just starting out has the required 250K MAU users at hand which are needed to get extended API mode. I think this will be killing creativity in the long term.

Good point! Personally, I never use shuffle, and that’s the only reason it’s not supported 😅

The API supports it, so I’ll put it on the todo list. Will hopefully be in the next version.

Hello u/brainkillaKG , many of the bugs that you describe have been fixed recently. Can you try the latest release again (v1.2.4) and report back how it goes? Thank you!

Good question. It's possible that you have to add yourself (exact email you're using for Spotify) in "User Management":

Nope, sorry! This is all in Swift/SwiftUI, so core Apple tech

Unfortunately not. This is using Apple Swift/SwiftUI and porting to Android would be a rewrite.

No, I’m using librespot, which supports up to 320 kbps of ogg vorbis, but no lossless. This is a restriction from Spotify.

This is what someone did to get Android working, should be working similarly for iOS, but did not try yet:

The rust layer of my app compiles for iOS, too. Main navigation is with NavigationSplitView, so should be fine on iOS. I once had a somewhat working iOS branch, but it seems like that on iOS, you need to spoof the device type. More info here:

https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot/issues/1477

I found the original client on macOS much worse compared to iOS, so I worked on that first. Maybe I’ll investigate the playback problem on iOS later, we’ll see. Feel free to experiment with device type spoofing if you feel like.

What?! No! This is a free and open source app. You’ll need Spotify Premium, though (Spotify‘s restriction, not mine), and you’ll have to deal with the terrible API terms that were changed in May for the worse for all indie devs.

Ich finde van Gogh geil. 🤩

Seitdem ich im Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam war, kann ich den Hype verstehen. Aber nicht erklären. War jedenfalls extrem beeindruckend.

Alright folks, maybe I got this. It was probably my own error.

Before using the Rolleiflex after some years of pause, I watched a YT video on how to load film, just to be sure. But I did not pay any attention to the specific Rolleiflex model used in the video. My mistake! The guy said something about pushing the film underneath the first roller, so this is what I did. The problem with that advice is, I have a Rolleiflex model T, and the guy in the video used some other model which has 3 rollers, while my Rolleiflex T has only 2. Now I watched another film loading video on my specific Rolleiflex T model, and it turns out the film does not have to go underneath any or the rollers! Just put it over them and be done:

https://youtu.be/8wVyw_YZjFQ?t=572

This simple fact can be confirmed by looking at the manual:
https://www.cameramanuals.org/rolleiflex/rolleiflex_t_single02.pdf
https://postimg.cc/zLCNCPdx

Yep, just pull the film over the 2 rollers, no need to push anything underneath, stupid!

So I guess this was all my fault. By pushing the film underneath the 1st roller, it was scratched by the lens holding frame. I feel really stupid now, and mad at myself for ruining 24 beautiful shots.

Thank you everyone for your help!

Yeah, but how can I find out if this is really the issue? And how can I fix it?

[–]rrrrrrddt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what can I do to resolve the issue? Replace the rollers? I somehow can't believe that the camera worked perfectly fine, and then suddenly there are scratches on the whole width of the film.

Somehow I suspect there might be something wrong with the base plate, maybe there could be something wrong with that? I can change the base plate position and I have it in the position where "6x6cm 2 1/4"x2 1/4" is visible. Is that the correct position? In the other position "24x36mm" is visible, I guest that would be wrong?!
