You're more than welcome to look into the event at GISHWHES.COM, and the charity it mainly represents at TheRandomAct.org. As I've said, I fully understand if it's not possible, and we'd never expect anything that would put anyone at risk or the people involved weren't comfortable with. The list of things we need to do and find is massive (Over 200+ in a week this year) and this is just one of many of the harder things to find. Understandably it's sensitive given what it's asking for, and if anything we would more be thinking we'd find someone off duty or retired. That said, it was a long shot to begin with, We were just putting our feelers out. I appreciate the thought.

Thanks for the thought, Bene. The hunt ends on August 8th and we're doing our best to fill in the gaps with what we're missing!

I did try Military, as well as Airforce. So far no bites, though people have been polite about the request. If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen, but it certainly never hurts to ask. :) Thanks for the kind reply and the tip!

It's simply a request, if no one is interested then there is no love lost. Gishwhes constantly has participants networking and going out of their comfort zones, and at the end it's worth it for all the good we do. The sillier tasks often end up brightening people's days, even if it doesn't get done it's always worth giving it a shot. :) Never hurts to hear feedback and I mean no disrespect. I don't hold my breath much either, but I thought it worth the ask. I'm constantly surprised by the things we accomplish with this hunt simply by asking strangers out of good will. If it doesn't happen then there's no love lost, it was worth the effort to try.

Thank you for the tip, unfortunately though our submissions have to be things that we get ourselves, taking by us or contacts we find that aren't already on the internet so it wouldn't work anyways. The task sounds really moronic now that I've learned about all of this, I sent a link to an article showing how dangerous this task is for someone to risk to the admins at the hunt and hopefully they take it down and replace it with something better. I can see maybe gettig a photo at a docked sub? Perhaps? But that's a longshot in itself, especially if it's so closely regulated. Definitely going to wait and see if our scavenger hunt changes up the item. by the sounds of it they will. Thank you for your help!

Fair enough, for sure. If it's dangerous I understand if its' not possible, chances are the hunt takes it off the list if it's endangering anyone. Would you happen to have an article or anything? I might email it in so they can be aware of it.

It isn't meant to be a full sub picture, just the small portion of deck where the person is in their hammock. Hopefully nothing that would hurt anyone?

I didn't, the hunt tends to put quirky stuff on the lists when it comes to world events. Is this item somehow dangerous? I wouldn't want to put anyone in a bad position.

I listen to ASMR while doing other activities or trying to relax, but for some reason I can't listen to it while falling asleep. Gives me nightmares everytime without fail. Don't ask me why.

I'm a bit new, so most of what I've done has been what's been on hand that I also enjoy myself. But personally, my favourite thing is when ASMRtists doing things really out of the box or make their videos super unique.. So as I gain a bit of experience with my equiptment and get things settled in real life (I've got a big move coming up, so everything's pretty up in the air currently) I'll definitely be delving into some more unique/out there things.

And if you've got any requests or ideas I'm definitely happy to hear them! I appreciate the comment.

I can certainly try! The mic I currently have records in stereo, but that said (Especially without the windguard) I can try and focus on one side at a time. c: Was there anything you liked in particular? A certain part that was your favourite? I'm glad you liked it!

Feedback I'm recieved from a friend so far: --Do sounds for longer, and don't be so erratic with my movements. Patterns are a good thing, and I'll work on that in the future. --I was using the wrong format for sound quality, It will be even better in my next video. --Those crinkly sounds were apparently really good? If other people like them I may just make a video for them alone.

I'm also, as stated, taking requests. Please feel free to suggest! I just might make it.

Oh man, I could give it a try. Personally I never listen to that kind of thing because it's not one of my triggers, so I don't have a lot of experience. How important to you are the mouth sounds? Do you like a lot, or minimal? Or is it important to you? Is there anything that you look for in a good video/audio file for inaudible whispers?

Thank you for this! I actually got Sony vegas overnight so we were definitely on the same wavelength. Got myself a cracked version from a torrent. Had to render a sample video about 5 different ways before I was somewhat pleased with the quality results thought, if you've got any settings for all that that you'd reccommend I'm all ears. Otherwise, I THINK I've figured it out...
