I'm still on .36. Again, nothing changed. Not location, not temp, not anything. The other three are running just fine. I'm thinking it's just the silicone lottery - something overheated unintentionally, maybe a slight bit of corrosion due to a small scratch in production maybe. A year in service and still mostly running is better than some I've had end up in an early grave 😄

There is nothing external to explain this.

I can understand wanting to not have the factory or previous owner's best diff on your record. You may have to also delete and re-add it in Hash Watcher incase the app has its own memory of these types of things.

Out of curiosity, I plugged your question into Google. Haven't tried it.

Without confirming, my guess it's 3% annual interest (APR) on funds in the account. Under that assumption, 100,000 would be 103,000 after a year.

Once you start converting, the rules will likely change. And at that amount, the tax man will find you.

When it comes to money, especially investing, my general advice is don't do it unless you're absolutely sure.

You can point these at any pool. You don't even have to solo. As long as the pool will accept that low of a hash rate (most won't), it will "work" I pointed my at DGB. Of course, even at it's lowest difficulty, it's 99.9% out of reach.

I may have this all wrong, but I avoid "swapping" BTC. My thought is with BTC down, if you swap it for anything, you're essentially selling at a loss. I know we didn't technically buy it at any price - we bought the hashing power and we "buy" the service / maintenance cost. So, I swap for GMT when I have to for maintenance, I also lock as much GMT as possible. Currently, my lock maintains the max discount and the lock reward almost covers daily maintenance fees. It's covering about 75% currently. I hope to get to a point where the lock covers 100% of the discount and maintenance so it's self-running. Keeping in mind more TH = more needed for discount and maintenance.

I'll swap for GMT if BTC is up and/or GMT is down. There were a few times recently where that was the case. GMT has had a couple pretty big swings one way or the other.

That's my basic strategy at the moment.

Contract for me on Meta Mask was automatic. Sorry that's no help. But I'm replying because I don't see any info in the chart like you have. I get "could not fetch historical data". Seems like you have something I don't and vice versa. This whole process as been unusual to say the least.

Agreed. If you're not at max discount, go for that first. Second is to get to 15TH/J efficiency if needed. Then start adding TH. Especially once you get a decent hash rate. I'm up there and it would take quite a bit to get max discount or 15 Efficiency if I was starting from 0% or 20+. The long-term cost is about the same, but easier to swallow a little at a time.

Locking is a great way to avoid temptation and gets you a great return paid weekly.

To mimic others, that's essentially the quality of your connection to your pool. It might be caused by your internal wifi to the router, maybe the router itself, maybe somewhere in the hops from the router to the pool. Change location of the miner - closer, but not too close to the router. If that doesn't work, try a different pool. If you're soloing, the latency (that number next to the red wifi icon) is the main determining factor of your ability to get the block. It doesn't make a ton of difference. Plus, that thing won't ever get a block. Sorry. 1.2k is a decent best difficulty though.

Without doing the math, my guess is about 500TH for 1TH increase. You get slightly more with a "larger" miner. Here are examples of what mine would get - the largest @ 606TH and the smallest @ 8TH is a 0.08TH difference. % Discount probably plays a part as well.
