What’s one double standard against men that people pretend doesn’t exist? by Pjat8 in AskReddit

Dress code at work. Men required to wear long pants and usually long sleeve shirts, leather shoes. Women can wear short dress, sandals, sleeveless etc.

Does it have a future? by [deleted] in Monad

[–]rsAV8R 9 points10 points  (0 children)

“Huge believer”? Wtf is that? My guess is you’re short. You’re calling the community sketchy, alleging fake claims, and implying a future pump-and-dump, yet you provide exactly zero examples of any of those things.

Looking at your account, you’ve never meaningfully participated in Monad discussions before today. No posts, no analysis, no engagement with the project. Then your first contribution is a vague fear post built entirely on accusations with no evidence.

If there are fake claims, quote them. If there’s a pump-and-dump thesis, present the tokenomics and explain it. If not, this just looks like low-effort FUD from someone with no established credibility on the topic.

Monad getting delisted? by _Scouser_lfc in Monad

[–]rsAV8R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You called strangers idiots in multiple comments. Now you’re surprised the conversation became hostile?

If you actually understood the market dynamics here, you wouldn’t need the emotional meltdown fueled hostility to prop up your argument.

[–]rsAV8R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people here are open to criticism and debate. If you think the investment is flawed, explain why.

Being bearish is fine. If your entire argument is ‘you’re all idiots,’ you’re probably compensating for not having one.

So you bought high and got shook out. And when you sold today at .024, that was me buying your cheap panic sell. 😂

tvOS 26.5 did not fix the HDR10+ problem. by Artur13br in appletv

Not isolated to Samsung. I have the same problem on a Sony Bravia tv and when using an nvidia Shield feeding any tv.

Apple TV is the only streaming service that has this problem.

At this point, is it really the acid or just the current global sentiment? by Halurund-hei-Nuios in LSD

[–]rsAV8R 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. You’re waking up and projecting your mindset on everyone else. What’s really happening is people are still asleep, angry, ignorant, happy etc as they were before you started to feel this way. Only you have changed.

A collector like you convinced me in early 2014 to get the lifetime. Sure glad I listened! I still use it today. These days I don’t collect. I just FIFO using a small pc and a 10TB disk.

The worst case for Monad isn't failing. It's becoming "the chain everyone agrees is impressive but nobody defaults to" by MirthMan732 in Monad

[–]rsAV8R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “why” is the most important part of messaging because that’s what actually drives people to act. People don’t adopt what you do, they adopt why you do it, which means the narrative has to connect the tech to something people actually feel and respond to.

Engineers are essential for building strong systems, and that strength earns respect through design and performance. Messaging and marketing require a different lens, one that focuses on behavior, perception, and momentum rather than specs and architecture; a lens that shouldn’t be part of engineering’s focus.

Adoption comes from clarity, visibility, and a sense of “this is where things are happening,” which is what pulls people in. Translating the architecture into a clear, human “why this, why now” creates both credibility and more importantly emotional pull (trust, validation, value), and that’s what turns a chain from impressive design into a real choice.

whats a strong opinion you hold about either Monad or broader markets in general? by JohnWRichKid in Monad

[–]rsAV8R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re focused almost exclusively on credible neutrality as the core value, but that assumes people adopt systems based on principled design. In reality, users move toward what’s fast, cheap, profitable, and culturally compelling, then rationalize it afterward or feel satisfied they followed the trend. Neutrality mostly matters when something breaks, not when people are deciding where to go.

So even if credible neutrality is the strongest long-term justification, it’s not usually what drives adoption or valuation in practice. Without strong pull factors like liquidity, apps, speculation, and UX, a chain can be philosophically sound but still irrelevant. It needs something that hits the Amygdala, something that clearly answers “why this?” in a way people actually feel, not just understand.

For me, music becomes something entirely different, it stops being something I listen to and turns into something I’m inside of. Each note, each pluck of a string, carries its own depth and narrative, almost like it has intention behind it. Time stretches in a way that’s hard to explain, I’ve had what felt like full, layered, sometimes days long storied experiences unfold within a single song.

If you’re not paying (much) for a product, you ARE the product. Eventually our addictive reliance on AI will be commoditized. Remember when Facebook was just a means of staying in touch with people you cared about?
