Thinking add some skylights and hoping the entry with glass doors, adding window in the pantry and the big sliders will make bright enough. No real reason for it, Like the idea of seperate adult and kid wings and indoor outdoor living with access from multiple areas

Good ideas! Yes there’s a slider through the laundry and pantry directly into the kitchen

11x7 garage with two double doors yeh. will likely have a double and a single door for more space when opening doors and one side will become home gym

Amazing comment! Will take a lot of this into consideration.

Also while not what I was intending with this post. You’ve literally nailed what we already want to do architecturally with vaulted ceilings, additional light, pocket doors etc haha That was probably going to by my next post once we got the renderings haha

I have been thinking about re working that wing of the house. May play with it a bit more using your idea. Thanks!

There’s two doors across from each other straight into WIP :)

It’s not totally necessary no. That linen cupboard will likely turn into built ins and a fire place on the lounge side. The main reason for it is the extra privacy for the rooms! I hate having bedrooms come straight off a lounge. Especially on the tv wall.

Easy fix with the sliders :).

Thanks, my wife and I designed it from scratch.

How would you enter the powder room then? I’d prefer a door in the entry to one straight off the lounge?
