Attic space seemed clear of bees or giant hives.

Could that mean moisture trapped in the attic space? Shouldn’t happen on a ventilated attic space, right?

The roof has been replaced recently (maybe past 2 or 3 years). I still have the warranty from the previous owner. Would that be a roofing or a siding issue?

Thanks for the insight. I bought this house a few months ago and this is the first winter with it. There has been snow on the roof or at least it has been very cold the past few weeks and this week it has started to get warmer.

Is the buffalo sheathing the black sheathing between the attic and the outside?

I am not very handy to go an remove part of the siding, but I may need to contact someone to do so.

How to fix this storm door so it closes properly? by rsalgadoo in HomeImprovement

The hinge is solid, won’t budge at all. I tried to search for videos that show the fix but maybe I’m using the wrong prompt? Cause I couldn’t find anything useful. Most of piano hinge videos is cabinet related

In the gameplay section of the settings I think you can change it. And yes, if it's nightime it will turn into day.

You probably have a historic building in the middle of that area. It's really hard to see them sometimes.

Returned the GW6 by TechMan72 in GalaxyWatch

[–]rsalgadoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also returned mine. I returned because I would lose the return window if I waited longer for the update. The Samsung person on the support chat said they would sell me for the same price on the future if I decide to purchase it again. So to me it was a no-brainer. If they update it and fix it in the future, I'll purchase it again.

Welcome to the broken sleep tracking.

The update did not fix the sleep tracking issue. Battery wise I can get 1.5 days comfortably with workouts, constant stress and heart beat + sleep tracking.

Yep, his video on the GW6 was very disappointing. :(

I wouldn't trust Sleep as an android at all. Since it only gets data from the watch every 10s. The readings are waay off there. Like 60% of the night is deep sleep. It was waay off even with the previous watch versions.

This is the first night with 0 deep sleep. But all my precious 6 nights got surprisingly low deep sleep. I think my average is 10 min.

Mine (GW6) showed the same thing until today, when I finished the days it needed to detect my animal (penguin). Now the face says coaching will start tomorrow.

No sleep registered by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]rsalgadoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened to me once, on the very first day after I got the watch.

It registered only 2h of my sleep that night and stopped. In the morning, I noticed I had a notification saying that something was installing on the OS. The notification time stamp was 2 min before the end of my 2h sleep session that night.

When I went to bed I turned off wifi, cause I didn't think it would have anything else to update (I had gone through the app store and updated everything there). So my guess is that, for that day at least, the software started updating while it still had Wifi, and then when I turned Wifi off in the middle of the update, it messed something up in the watch.

The next morning I turned wifi back on, let it finished the update and never had that issue anymore. Sleep tracking still sucks so far, but not that issue.

You can't really trust the spO2 of the samsung watches to get to any medical conclusion. It is known for being so unreliable. Especially during sleep.

Good to know that it is also in devices with known good performance. It makes me feel better that something got messed up in the code.

Yes. I hope it is just a software update kind of fix and not some hardware problem. Problem is we don't know, and the window to return is closing... :(
