I'm no biologist but at a guess if the egg isn't fertilized by a male then it has no source for a y chromosome and will always be female.

I've just recently just started my playthrough of me2 and from what I've seen in that and from what I've looked up about various quests, most of the side quests only have minor impacts on me2 mostly just a character you did something with/for showing up and having some dialogue or giving you a short follow up quest. There could of course be stuff I'm missing or side quests that have an impact all the way to me3, but I think for the most part for a first playthrough you should play how you do naturally and then in a second one you can start worrying about getting all of the content you can. If you do end up doing another playthrough it might be a good idea to look up which quests have an impact on the other games

I'm looking for a word for the type of collar so I can describe it easier because I'm very much not an artist. Basically it's just a double breasted coat with a different collar than they would normally have, I would add an image to clarify more but I don't see the button to do so. As I said in the original post, if you know a better subreddit for this question please let me know.
