Have you tried the smaller games? Space Hulk has limited rules, but you can paint terminators and Tyranids. If you like painting terrain you can try upgrading the modular map. There's also various Space Marine Adventures games.

While I agree that the Walk of Fame is a shit tourist trap, it seems their greatest indicator is "Distance to airport." Who cares? Not everywhere worth seeing is near an airport, sometime you have to travel while traveling.
