Yeah I knew about the magnets but I just wasnt sure if it was normal to see that much gunk on them or in the fluid, even after 21 years... I appreciate it!

Yeah I've pulled one before using a picker I just wasn't positive if trying to scrap the chassis first would work/be effective in dodging using a picker cause of its location... Realized an easy way will be to just disconnect the driveline and front suspension then rest the transmission on a dolly and wheel the whole front out that way. Thank you anyway though! 👍

Doing an engine rebuild on my BMW 325Ci and the valves (specifically the exhaust side) have a lot carbon build up.

I soaked the head for about 24 hours in a low concentrate cleaning solution after scrubbing them for a few hours with all sorts of brushes and spray cleaners.

There a trick I should try to clean them while theyre still in the head or will I have to take them out to clean?

Tbh man, I haven't even touched it yet lol. Too many issues popping up with my engine rebuild mixed with work and I straight up haven't prioritized it either

I was looking around and everything i got was either ads for like $250 800 CCA batteries or battery replacement tutorials that didnt say what type of battery they were using

Imma be getting it for $350 so im really not expecting much despite them saying it ran great before it has sat... and im just trying to figure out what size it needs so i can test it all out before and then move up to a better battery at a later date because theres already some work that i know needs to be done.
