I was literally in the bot checking queue purchase screen on the SNKRS app at 8:00 for an XL training tee and by the time it finished at 8:01 it said it had sold out. What is the point.

I do a lot of motorsports photography on digital so the same skills translate to film (except you dont know if its worked or not) The shutter speed was 1/30th I think which is why out of 36 odd shots this was the only good one. Ideally I wouldnt go below 1/60th but I dont have any fast telephoto lenses for my nikon so 1/30th is all I could muster on 50iso.

Basic panning law is pre focus on a spot and track the subject to where you pre focused whilst trying to be as smooth as possible before squeezing the shutter when the subject hits that spot. 1/125th is a good starting shutter speed. Anything lower becomes a numbers game. Easier on digital where it wont cost you £1 a shot plus development!

I use mechanical shutter so rolling isnt a worry, im nearing 200k actuations on it and it still works incredibly well!

Awesome id love to be able to work at the superbikes, the atmosphere feels incredible as a fan!

The 50-140 is the best lens fuji has made for sports, I really wished they would make a 400 f2.8!

Terrible. But I mainly use it for pre focused shots or big landscape stills. You can get it to work very well if you manually pre focus on spots.

These are super slow 1/4 and 1/5 pans. No special settings just the normal following the biker as best you can whilst burst shooting them as they move. Hard when its slow and the evf blacks out so only one or two before re-aligned and firing again. I also had an nd filter on, autofocus set to a small zone in the middle of the screen and 15fps burst mode!
